Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in project management. Prior experience in managing ERP implementation projects is highly desirable. Experience with IFS Applications and Agile methodology is a plus. Certification in Project Management methodologies such as Prince2 or PMP is an asset. Experienced in negotiations with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Job Description:
The IFS Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing ERP projects for the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). This role involves ensuring value realization and revenue generation through effective project management and application of IFS methodologies. The Project Manager will be the key driver of project success, balancing short and long-term goals, managing KPIs, and fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Detailed Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Act as the focal point of expertise for IFS project implementation, ensuring value realization and revenue generation. Take ownership of project delivery within agreed scope, time, and cost. Govern and steer the overall project plan, ensuring alignment with SEC requirements and objectives. -
Project Management: Apply key concepts from IFS methodologies to guide project execution and communicate these to the customer. Display leadership abilities, ensuring uniformity in communication and methodology across the consulting team. Manage and communicate project milestones consistently to the consulting team and stakeholders. Understand and manage the impact of Change Requests on solution design, scope, and project timelines. -
Integration and Solution Design: Review, analyze, and ensure IFS deliverables and integrations meet SEC requirements. Actively participate in solution design reviews, functional specification reviews, and business requirement discussions. Oversee the integration of IFS with other systems such as SAP C4C, ensuring seamless operation. -
Performance and Progress: Coordinate and follow up on performance and progress from all project team members. Provide status reports according to the defined process and ensure timely cost management, including invoicing and follow-up. -
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trust with SEC teams, IFS teams, and other stakeholders. Lead project kickoff meetings and clearly communicate project scope, approach, and expectations. Routinely question and challenge key decisions to ensure they align with the overall project scope and budget. -
Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with application developments, new releases, and assess their potential impact on the project in collaboration with the Solution Architect. Ensure consistent and timely cost management, including invoicing and follow-up. Challenge requests for customization, ensuring they are appropriate and capturing any increase in scope as Change Requests.
Skills & Expertise:
Project Management: Proven experience in leading ERP implementation projects and managing project delivery.
IFS Methodologies: Strong understanding of IFS methodologies and the ability to communicate these effectively.
Integration & Solution Design: Experience in reviewing and managing solution designs and integrations.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in stakeholder management and negotiations.
Cost Management: Ability to manage project costs effectively, including invoicing and follow-up.
Agile Methodology: Experience with Agile methodology is advantageous.*
