About the job HSSE Section Head (KSA National)

Position Summary:


The HSSE Section Head (E2) is a key position within Hill International responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors. The HSSE Section Head (E2) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The HSSE Section Head (E2) will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating HSSE performance, conducting risk assessments, and providing safety training and education.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Develop, implement, and manage HSSE programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.


Monitor and evaluate HSSE performance, conducting risk assessments, and providing safety training and education.


Develop and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors.


Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans.


Develop and coordinate emergency response plans.


Develop and maintain a safety and health compliance system.


Develop and maintain a safety and health awareness program.


Develop and maintain safety and health records.


Provide safety and health advice and technical assistance to all levels of the organization.


Monitor and evaluate safety and health performance.


Maintain and update safety and health regulations.


Maintain and update safety and health documents.


Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in safety engineering, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or related field.


15+ years of experience in safety engineering, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or related field.


Knowledge of applicable safety and health regulations and standards.


Knowledge of safety and health management systems.


Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


Ability to work independently and in a team environment.


Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.


Ability to work with all levels of the organization.


Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
