HSE Supervisor

Purpose of the Job

The Safety and Security Supervisor will be responsible for the implementation and management of safety and security policies, procedures, and practices. This position requires leadership in the development, coordination, and oversight of the organization’s safety and security plans to ensure the protection of all employees, visitors, and assets.

Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and security protocols across the organization.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
• Manage emergency response planning and execution, including evacuation procedures, incident response, and crisis management.
• Monitor compliance with local, and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and security breaches, providing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of security equipment and systems.

Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in safety and security management.
• Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and security evaluations.
• Experience working with security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems)
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations (ISO 45001 or equivalent).

Education:

• Diploma degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Security Management, or a related field.
• Certification in safety management systems (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) preferred
• First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
