Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies. Perform safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and recommend improvements. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and contributing factors. Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Follow up on implemented actions to ensure their effectiveness. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, audits, incidents, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit regular reports on HSE performance to management. Develop and deliver training programs on health, safety, and environmental topics. Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors. Promote awareness and understanding of HSE policies and procedures among all staff. Assist in the development and updating of HSE policies and procedures. Ensure that all policies and procedures are communicated effectively to employees. Participate in the development of emergency response plans and procedures. Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes. Recommend and implement improvements to HSE programs and initiatives. Participate in safety committees and contribute to the continuous improvement of HSE standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, safety, or a related field. Proven experience as an HSE Inspector. In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and procedures. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. * Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
