We are looking for Housing Supervisor to Attends to all types of repairs and maintains required in the staff housing premises in accordance with the standards. Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Do The Right Thing, Show We Care, Aim Higher, Celebrate Differences, Work Better Together and Service of the InterContinental Hotels.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Attends to various type of repairs and maintenance in the staff housing including equipment in the office.
• Carries out repairs and maintenance of locks, door closers and sliding door mechanism.
• Carries out maintenance on electrical and wiring, electrical fault in the staff housing.
• Maintains all AC unit, washing machine, dryer in the staff housing including the staff cafeteria.
• Carries out repairs and maintenance of domestic hot/cold water systems, installation of and water heater.
• Executes pipe and fitting job, repairs and maintains the sharing bathroom/toilets as per the required standards.
• Attends to install of vinyl floor tiles and false ceiling.
• Repairs damaged surfaces which may include concrete, plastering, stonework, block work, wall and floor ceramic tiling and marble works.
• Cleans all manholes and clears sewage and storm water line blockages using snaker machine.
• Attends to repairs and painting of all surface walls, facades, ceilings, and equipment in the staff housing.
• Reports and logs maintenance request.
• Prepares repairs and maintenance report on weekly basis.
What We need from you:
- Communication, both verbal and written, skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational abilities are used often.
- May be required to work weekends, and/or on holidays.
