Housekeeping Supervisor

responsibilities:

• inspects guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards
• runs sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms
• responds to customer complaints and special requests
• assigns housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met
• schedules staff shifts and organizing replacements as required
• investigates and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service
• provides training & educating on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards to the housekeeping staff
• motivates team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• regulates taking inventory of cleaning supplies and refilling stock as needed
• issues cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed
• performs various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages
  

• excellent organizational and team management skills
• relevant experience in a similar position for at least 5 years
• previous experience working in the hotel and hospitality industry, working in resorts is plus
• excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• self-motivated and creative problem-solver
