Description
The ideal candidate will have previous experience/contacts, a go-getter mentality and a track record of success in construction/industrial sales. This role is responsible for promoting, and selling Vermeer construction products and solutions. Candidate will follow-up on internally and externally sourced leads, develop a customer network, coordinate product demonstrations, and maintain customer information notes with periodic reviews. This full time benefits eligible position offers a base salary plus commission, company vehicle, fuel card, laptop and cell phone.

Responsibilities:
Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals. Track and manage sales opportunities across the assigned area - from initial inquiry through to order close. Identify customer’s needs and react appropriately while understanding the market conditions and local competitors pricing. Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them through in-person calls, phone, text and email. Territory management – assure proper coverage of all customers and industries within assigned geographic area and provide exceptional customer service. Key account management – be responsible for all customers in the territory. Be adept in dealing with Company owners, managers and field personnel. Product Demonstrations – develop, schedule, conduct equipment demonstrations with customers CRM – input and maintain customer accounts, opportunities and activities in Salesforce CRM software. Ability to effectively work independently and remotely
