Head of Kitchen Equipment''s Development

Position Overview:

The Head of Kitchen Equipments Development pioneers cutting-edge kitchen processes to enhance the dining experience and boost efficiency. They oversee the refinement and creation of kitchen operations, prioritizing quality and fostering creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Generate 3D drawings for each equipment.
• Identify the type of power each piece of equipment needs, whether electric, gas, water, etc....
• Identify equipment with weak or poor output or high-power consumption, etc
• Search, improve, or replace necessary equipment depending on the previous task.
• Search and develop new cooking technologies for the kitchen in collaboration with the responsible chef.
• Attending Food & Beverage Equipment fairs and exhibitions and visiting manufacturers.
• Coordinate with the Lean Six Sigma Team to resolve any difficulties encountered.
• Help the Kitchen Design in the following:
• o Generate the layout of MEP (Mechanical, Electric, and Plumbing).
• o Set meetings with the construction department before launching execution to clarify the plans and avoid mistakes, delays, and product wastage.
• Visiting the site regularly during construction to ensure proper installments and execution according to the layout provided.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Years of experience in equipment development or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks software.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good experience in kitchen equipment manufacturing.
• Familiar with commercial kitchen equipment.
