Responsibilities
His responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Evaluate, recommend, and implement hardware and software solutions to meet business objectives
· Manage and maintain computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
· Ensure data security and privacy by implementing proper backup and recovery procedures, and managing user access to systems and data
· Monitor system performance and provide regular reports and analysis to management
· Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed
· Provide technical support to end-users and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
· Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the IT field.
Job Requirements:
The post holder will have the following background:
· Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
· Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTlA A+, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
Skills:
· Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows and Linux
· Understanding of database systems, such as SQL Server and Oracle
· Knowledge of cloud-based platforms like AWS, Google Cloud and Azure
Experience required:
· 15+ years of experience in Information Technology
· Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise network environments
· Experience in implementing robust cybersecurity protocols to protect enterprise assets
· Exposure to emerging technologies like Al/ML, blockchain, and smart contracts.
