Job Purpose
To develop, establish and manage the Governance & Assurance aspects of all Company projects and functions. In addition act as the Company Quality Authority in order to continuously improve and ensure compliance to quality standards
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
· Accountable for management of direct reports including mentoring, allocation of tasks and performance evaluation,
· Promote a high-performance working environment.
· Develop and implement the Governance & Assurance strategy;
· Develop policies and procedures that align with the function and business strategy.
· Establish and maintain a Business Management Systems (BMS) containing all documents required to manage the business e.g. policies & procedures.
· Ensure all policies and procedures are aligned with the requirements of the BAE systems Operational Framework and Air Sector policies, procedures and frameworks; and
· Ensure the Company is compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 standards.
· Provide independent advice to functions and projects on issues regarding Quality Management System (QMS);
· Review the findings of all Internal and External audits and reports and progress action plans with action owners;
· Manage and coordinate activities of external auditors and the progression and closure of audit actions with action owners;
· Development, implementation and management of an internal audit programme;
· Investigation of customers complaints related to ISE products and services;
· Plan, organise and provide leadership to quality assurance and management systems programs;
· Establish and maintain an appropriate Business Continuity Management System across the Company;
· Prepare briefing material, organize and coordinate the activities of the Audit Committee;
· Compilation of the bi-annual OAS return and progression of RtG actions with question owners;
· Manage quality approval of suppliers to ensure adherence to Company requirements;
· Maintain a framework and matrix for measuring Quality Right First Time (QRFT) within the business; and
· Ensure customer/supplier quality issues are addressed and resolved.
· Attend and prepare briefing material for Air KPC Governance Forum
· Cultivate and promote working relationships within the organisation and senior-level counterparts in other organisation to gain and share knowledge (e.g. good practice).
Job Requirements:
· A minimum of 5 plus years of experience in the assurance field, preferably 2 years in a people management role.
· IT Industry experience is desirable but not essential
