We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated group financial controller to join our team, having experience in FMCG, and especially Food Sector
As a financial controller, you will manage all financial activities, analyze financial data and provide strategic guidance to the executive team. Your expertise in listed company compliance requirements, quarterly audits, financial planning, cash flow control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting will be essential in driving the company towards achieving its economic objectives. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for listed companies.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
Monitor and manage the company’s budget, expenses and cash flow, ensuring that the financial targets are achieved.
Conduct financial analysis and research to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Your tasks:
Manage financial audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee the accounting department and ensure that the financial records are accurate.
Manage relationships with banks, investors and other financial institutions to ensure that the company has access to the necessary capital to fund its operations.
Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales, marketing and operations and help achieve their objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management.
Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
5+ years of experience in listed company’s financial management.
Strong understanding of corporate financial planning, risk management and investment strategies.
True team player and able to efficiently work with multiple teams across the organization
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, financial regulations and tax regulations in KSA is an added bonus.
Analytical skills to interpret large volumes of data, spot anomalies and assess risks in economic forecasts.
Experience with financial management software like SAP, Oracle, Odoo and collaborative tools.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Professional certification, as a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong management and leadership skills
Consulting background is an added bonus within the strategy domain and cost optimization domain
Reporting:
This job will report to the Group CFO with a dotted line to the CEO
