To take concepts brought forward by Flying Wing Instructors, to produce specific and accurate design work, produce and design appropriate media to support the training pipeline, and where possible improve on these concepts. Produce KFAA training literature, including but not limited to Handbooks, Training manuals and Power Point slide materials, with detailed and accurate illustrations, images, presentations, training aids, posters, banners, certificates and logo/badge designs. Design, develop and maintain the Flying Wing training portal/website, a good understanding of HTML5 is desirable. Create ideas and concepts, then choose the appropriate software and style to meet the objectives. Have an understanding of preparing documents for print including output to large format. Work with a wide range of media, including photography and video. Must be an advanced level user of Adobe Creative Cloud software, with emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop. A thorough knowledge of appropriate file formats is essential for the migration of artwork between software platforms. A good understanding of 3D Studio Max is also desirable for creating visual concepts. The Graphic Illustrator is a BAESSA representative, and is responsible for demonstrating the personal qualities and capabilities essential to promote and protect BAESSA reputational interests with the customer. The Graphic Illustrator is responsible for maximising customer satisfaction through the delivery of services of the highest standards. They are to conduct themselves in a manner encompassing the BAESSA Code of Conduct, ethical behaviour, and maintain appropriate standards of discipline. They are to comply with all reasonable instructions issued by company representatives, and which are within the individual’s capability and experience. Perform graphic Illustration tasks as directed by Line Management. Perform duties and delegated tasks from the Supervisor as directed. Highlight SHE hazards to Supervisor. Follow Supervisor policies and processes. Generate reports as required by Supervisor. Maintain cultural awareness with the customer at all times. Conform to required standards and operating procedures in keeping with customer needs. Self-monitor fatigue levels and highlight any concerns to Supervisor. Advise the Supervisor of factors adversely affecting operations.Primary Location
