Responsibilities
His responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Develops and executes GIS programs and scripts to automate geospatial data processes
· Ensures that geospatial data is processed efficiently and accurately
· Collaborates with other geospatial specialists to integrate GIS programs and scripts into geospatial products
· Applies analytical and programming skills to develop optimal GIS programs and scripts
· Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of programming languages and GES platforms and tools .
Job Requirements:
The post holder will have the following background:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
· Certificate in GIS
Software Skills:
· Programming ArcGIS Pro with Python & Arcpy, Python, R, SQL
· Experience required:
· 3+ years of experience in GIS programming positions
· Experience in developing GIS applications and tools using programming languages
· Experience in geospatial analysis and working with spatial data is also an advantage.
