Geotechnical Senior Construction Manager/ Site Manager

In view of our prospect marine projects, we are currently looking for an experienced Geotechnical Senior Construction Manager to join our construction team working on our projects, in KSA.

Role Summary: 

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for all delivery aspects of the project scope (planning and coordination) you are responsible for, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and that effective controls and procedures are in place.

As a leader of this team, you will be required to create an environment of exceptional team performance, ensure team roles, skills and behavior are aligned with the Project's objectives and requirements.

What you will need to do:

• Plan, organize and oversee all construction activities in accordance with approved budget and schedule.
• Develop construction method statements and procedures.
• Constantly record progress and improve methods / productivities.
• Manage various site subcontractors, as well as suppliers.
• Lead by example and ensure that the site activities are performed meeting all QHSE requirements.  
• Develop three (3) months look-ahead schedules and report progress.
• Develop and give progress and technical presentations / reports.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum ten (10) years of overall work experience on large EPC (aka DB) projects (>100M USD), working for a Tier 1 contractor.
• Minimum three (3) years of work experience as Construction Manager in large EPC (aka DB) projects, working for a Tier 1 contractor, preferably aproject including a slurry wall.
• Proven exposure to the following activities:
  • Diaphragm walls (slurry)
  • Bored piles
  • Ground investigations
• Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language.

• Geotechnical specialized subcontractor experience.
• UAE and KSA leading multidisciplinary projects.
