Oversee the acquisition, tracking, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets. Ensure accurate and timely updates to the fixed asset registe
Prepare and present regular reports on fixed assets, including valuations, depreciation schedules, and any pertinent financial analysis.
Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and internal controls related to fixed assets management.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for fixed asset management to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Work closely with finance, operations, and procurement teams to manage asset-related activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Lead and train a team of fixed asset accountants and support staff to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations related to fixed assets.
- Proficiency in accounting software and fixed asset management systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
