Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Test, repair, convert, and troubleshoot problems of basic complexity to the component level on SEL products.
2. Provide basic product technical support to SEL staff and customers.
3. Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and products to ensure products quality and integrity.
4. Provide basic troubleshooting training to junior department personnel.
5. Implement department objectives under direction of immediate supervisor.
6. Model and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Understand. Create. Simplify.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Two-year electronic engineering technology degree or equivalent
Basic working knowledge of analog and digital electronics
Familiarity with modern test equipment
Good technical writing and presentation skills
Willing to travel up to 10%
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications
Electronic troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of SEL equipment
Physical Requirements
Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 35 pounds occasionally
Sit and stand for at least 8 hours
Vision correctable to 20/30 or better
Ability to differentiate color
Use of computer keyboard devices
