Purpose of the JobThe purpose of this role is to execute fixed scope on services and further develop engineering skills. This will involve implementing defined parts of standard services solutions under the close supervision of other Field Service Engineers and assisting in the development of new or non-standard solutions.
Principal Responsibilities
Study of project design inputs such as P&IDs, User Requirement Specification (URS), Control Narratives, Logic diagrams, Instrument Schedule, Cable Schedule, System Architecture, and IO/Tag Database.
Perform hardware visual inspection and loop check.
Installation and Configuration of servers, switches, and stations.
Establishing communications between systems.
Proactively looks to build cross-discipline experience and increase knowledge through working with other engineers.
Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to the project lead engineer or supervising engineer.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in engineering – Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Process Instrumentation & Control, Electronics Engineering.
