The RoleAs an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) - Integration Developer, you'll have the opportunity to influence core areas of the customer experience. As a customer’s data is often one of their most precious resources, your groups activities are critical to the success of projects for our new customers.
Your Impact- Plan, execute, and report on projects assigned to you as a Conversions and Display Engineering Services member.
- Organize and lead workshops with customers and project delivery teams.
- Document and develop programmatic solutions to meet customer data conversion needs
- Support system and acceptance testing with the end customers.
- Develop scripts and other middleware solutions
- Troubleshoot complex problems and collaborate with technical experts in various domains.
- Investigate and develop approaches to solve new data transformation challenges
- Periodically travel to customer sites and work directly with customers plan, deliver, and test developed solutions.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years relevant work experience.
- Experience in computer programming; C, C#, and Python preferred.
- Proficiency with flat file formats such as CSV, XML, JSON
- Experience with common developer tools such as Git, GitHub, MS Visual Studio
- Strong work ethic including willingness to learn and investigate new technologies and problems.
- Technical understanding of networking and security, operating systems, virtual environments, and systems integration.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, RDBMS) and NoSQL (mongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
- Comfortable with a customer facing role.
- Willingness to travel.
Preferred
- Proficiency in technical writing.
- Experience with or knowledgeable about electric power generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Expertise in any of the following areas: electric utility operations, control systems, automation, client/server applications, APIs, web services, network communications, operating systems, algorithms, SQL and other database technologies.
The salary range for this role is $90,200 to $112,800. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
