Position: ES&H Officer

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Project Scope: Fiber Pipeline Construction

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Officer to join our fiber pipeline project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role is vital for ensuring the safety and health standards on the construction site are upheld to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce the implementation of safety policies and procedures on the construction site.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
• Train and educate site personnel on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Investigate accidents or incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with the ES&H Manager to develop safety systems and manage documentation.
• Participate in safety meetings and committees to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in construction, with at least three (3) years as a safety representative on construction sites within the Middle East region.
• Must pass an ES&H Officer competency test with a minimum score of 60%.
• May be required to undergo a personal interview with the Construction (ES&H) Department for evaluation and approval before confirmation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Proactive in addressing potential safety issues and capable of leading emergency response actions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey safety information to all levels of project staff.
