Equipment Operator

Job Purpose:

Operates and maintains Transfer Bagging and Logistics, TBL equipment to meet or exceed the company production objectives in a safe, cost-effective and reliable manner aligned with the day-to-day operating plans and quality objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality of all handled products in accordance to approved procedures and safe work practices.
• Ensure clean and concise documentation in the logbook for relieving operators, including any unusual or abnormal conditions to maintain continuity in plant processes.
• Uses effective communication verbally by radio, telephone etc. on daily basis.
• Start, operate or shutdown TBL equipment in a safe and reliable manner to achieve packaging objectives in line with day-to-day production packaging plans and quality objectives.
• Check TBL equipment being used, for smooth operation; in case of any malfunction, contact maintenance and prepare the equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Audit maintenance work for compliance with safety regulations.
