Job Description

Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experience to guests who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.


Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


  • To aggressively develop, maintain and solicit a client base of local group accounts through preparation and execution of a strategic action plan.
  • Answer all leads within standard timelines, and send subsequent proposals and contracts.
  • Daily follow up on all leads, proposals and contracts.
  • Host site inspections and familiarization tours for tentative and potential groups for both local and international clients as required.
  • Maintain all information within the Sales & FB System.
  • Solicit new business from assigned markets through personal sales calls, prospecting calls, and networking opportunities and achieve quotas in these areas as well as referrals for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.
  • Host meal functions and entertain clients as appropriate.
  • Supervise and train the Sales Co-ordinator in all aspects of Fairmont Sales Procedures.
  • Co-ordinate with other Departments when there is a responsibility overlap to ensure complete client satisfaction. These include Hotel Activities, Public Relations, Conference Services & Catering, Front Office and Reservations in particular.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports and update action plans as required.
  • Attend Pre-Convention Meetings as required.
  • All other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:


Saudi National
Relevant sales experience is an asset
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Highly responsible & reliable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
