Job Purpose Conceive, develop, and implement electrical systems and components. Contribute to the design and improvement of electrical circuits, systems, and equipment. Ensure the efficiency, functionality, and safety of electrical systems, meeting project requirements and adhering to industry standards.
Key Accountability Areas Design and Approval:
Preparation of electrical Primary Design/drawings for customer approval based on design input using software.
Provide technical clarifications/cost data for all products to tendering/project team.
Preparation of as-built drawings.
Coordination and Communication:
Coordination with the production department and other internal customers for executing the projects.
Initiate request for SAP new item code creation.
Control and issue the design documents to all concerned.
Documentation and Compliance:
Preparation of BOM in SAP for ROH, bought-out items, and Electrical shop drawings as per project requirement.
Prepare the compliance and technical data sheet with coordination with tender teams.
Site Visits and Customer Interaction:
Visiting the site for technical discussions/product development.
Provide technical clarifications to the customer.
Role Accountability HR Proficiency:
Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
Delivery:
Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Safety:
Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
