Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for various projects, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop electrical systems for industrial projects, mainly oil & gas and Petrochemicals.
2. Perform sizing and review of major electrical equipment such as MCCs, Switchgears, Panels boards, Transformers datasheets, schematics, vendor tabulation.
3. Create detailed engineering electrical drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, load list, cable list, lighting calculations and panel layouts.
4. Collaborate with other engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building components.
5. Conduct site visits to inspect electrical installations and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum 3-8 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
2. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards, mainly Saudi Aramco and SABIC.
4. Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
