eCommerce Technical Director

We are looking for a highly skilled and forward-thinking eCommerce Technical Director to enhance our vibrant team. The successful candidate will have in-depth expertise in SAP Commerce and related platforms, mobile application development (both Flutter and native), automation testing, technical architecture, and retail operations. This position calls for a strategic leader capable of effectively managing and retaining an offshore team while driving innovation in our eCommerce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management: Inspire, guide, and oversee a diverse team of developers, including remote teams, while promoting a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.
2. SAP Commerce Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of SAP Commerce (Hybris) and comparable platforms to foster technical excellence and innovation in our eCommerce offerings.
3. App Development: Supervise the creation of mobile applications utilizing Flutter and native technologies, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user satisfaction.
4. Testing Automation: Establish and manage automated testing frameworks to guarantee the quality and dependability of our eCommerce applications.
5. Technical Architecture: Design and supervise the technical architecture of our eCommerce solutions, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.
6. Project Management: Effectively manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates, gather requirements, and align technical solutions with business objectives.
8. Continuous Improvement: Remain informed about the latest industry trends and technologies, actively seeking opportunities to enhance and innovate our eCommerce solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Demonstrated experience as a Technical Director or in a similar leadership capacity within the eCommerce sector.
3. In-depth experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) and similar platforms.
4. Strong proficiency in app development using Flutter and native technologies.
5. Expertise in testing automation and relevant frameworks.
6. Solid grasp of technical architecture principles and best practices.
7. Experience in the retail industry, with an understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
8. Outstanding leadership and team management skills, particularly in managing offshore teams.
