The ideal candidate will design and implement engaging lesson plans that foster cognitive, social, and emotional growth while ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans and activities tailored to young children’s developmental needs.
Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure a safe and nurturing learning space that promotes children’s well-being.
Encourage socialization and positive behavior through structured and unstructured play.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure consistency in teaching strategies and student support.
Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and instructional techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Creativity and patience to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
Ability to create a warm and inclusive learning environment.
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
Requirements:
Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Teaching certification and experience in early childhood education.
Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
First aid and child safeguarding training (preferred).
