The Early Career Traineeship is designed for fresh graduates where Baker Hughes will train fresh talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 12 months in Saudi Arabia / Dhahran Lab and will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills and provide on the job learning and exposure.
As part of our Early Career Traineeship, you will be involved in:
As a Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for:
Performing All kinds of cement testing, mixing, rheology
Performing QA/QC for Cement and All cementing chemicals, Fluid compatibility Testing, Apparent Wettability Testing of spacer and Flushes.
Communicating results with Cementing engineers.
Applying of scientific research and development in a lab environment
Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.
Resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
Working together with people from the business unit. Specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues.
Communicating with direct team and supervisor. Presenting to internal teams on metrics status .

To be successful in this traineeship you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical field or equivalent
Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills.
Be inquisitive and present a thirst for knowledge.
Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying, without sponsorship or time restrictions.
Work schedule
Work Schedule should be 8 hrs. a day and weekend if required but may work more than 8 hrs. based on activity .
Work schedule will be in shifts , morning , evening and night and weekends
