Our office in KSA is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced E&I Inspector to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Representing Fulkrum during vendor inspections for Electrical and Instrumentation equipment.
• Conducting inspections to ensure products meet project specifications, standards, and codes.
• Reviewing and validating material certificates and vendor documentation.
• Visual inspection and functional testing of Electrical and Instrumentation systems at the vendor site.
• Verifying compliance with industry standards, such as IEC, IEEE, and ATEX for hazardous environments.
• Witnessing factory acceptance tests (FAT) and other tests as required by project standards.
• Preparing detailed inspection reports and submitting them to the client and internal teams.
• Coordinating with vendor quality control personnel to resolve issues identified during inspections.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor inspections, specifically for E&I equipment in Oil & Gas or energy-related industries.
• COMPEX certification or equivalent for working in hazardous environments (ATEX zones).
• Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards, IEC 60079, IEEE standards, and other regulatory codes.
• Experience in conducting FAT, SAT, and other electrical tests at vendor sites.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation calibration, electrical wiring, and schematics.
• Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry project types both on and offshore
• Full working knowledge of MS Office programs
