What are my responsibilities?

• Aid the section manager with rolling stock/depot and system service tasks.
• Work as a technical expert within the rolling stock/depot and system service.
• Perform repair and maintenance functions applicable to rolling stock/depot and system service.
• Supervise the section manager and oversee the entire personnel within the maintenance section.
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of relevant equipment, including software, in conformity with the applicable technical documentation.
• Coordinate all aspects regarding the requirements for speedy corrective actions, e.g., suitable personnel, tools, materials, etc.
• Assist with the repair of installations in conformity with the applicable technical documentation.
• Perform daily control of the subordinated staff within the service.
• Monitor and review maintenance task reports.
• Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, including repair works, under the supervision of the engineer on duty and in conformity with the technical instructions and maintenance manuals.
• Operate special tools and measuring devices required to perform maintenance and repair tasks.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Certificate or diploma in a related technical field.
• 3 years of work experience within projects, preferably in the public transportation business.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to train staff on technical issues.
• Good knowledge of tools and equipment.
