Role Overview:
The Back Office Team Leader (BO TL) is responsible for leading a team supporting Huawei DPI/PCRF network and product maintenance. The role focuses on ensuring efficient fault management, troubleshooting, and operational support while adhering to service standards. The customer accepts Huawei service based on the resident engineer’s presence, with no specific KPI/SLA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the back office team handling DPI fault management and troubleshooting.
Network Operations: Oversee day-to-day network operations for DPI/PCRF, ensuring smooth functioning.
Fault Management: Provide on-site support for troubleshooting complex issues, escalating as needed.
Design Review: Provide feedback on network design documents and review network architecture.
Health Checks: Conduct routine health checks of the DPI network to ensure optimal performance.
Knowledge Transfer: Deliver on-site product knowledge transfer to enhance the team's technical expertise.
Escalation Management: Track and resolve escalated issues promptly and effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
HCIE-Datacom Certification is mandatory.
Proven experience leading a back office team for network operations, especially for DPI/PCRF.
Expertise in DPI technology (traffic classification, QoS, application control).
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
Familiarity with network tools (Wireshark, NetFlow, packet analyzers).
Basic scripting skills (Python, Shell) are beneficial.
