The Purpose of the Role
Responsible to manage and maintain the airfield ground lighting personnel, material and equipment security passes and maintain the documentation for internal and external audit purposes.
Overseeing the inventory and spares levels and ensuring the stock levels are maintained to meet the operational requirements. Weekly update to the Engineers and managers on the stock levels and initiate requisitions to source stock items below the defined threshold.
Monitor timely renewal/issue of security passes Apply for material and spares security gate passes for inlet and exit of the items from/to the airport premise. Liaison with airport security department and client point of contact for issuance of security gate passes of resources. Liaison with agencies/organizations to comply with the statutory requirements as required for the service contract. Monitoring the maintenance spares consumption and record the available spare part availability daily to keep a track on the inventory.
Monitoring calibration of critical equipment and arrange to obtain certification of the equipment, by sending them to the OEM’s/vendor
YOU MUST HAVE
The person should have a minimum of an Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Proven experience in document control and inventory management, preferably in airfield lighting contracts Experience of 2-3 years in documentation and inventory management role. Experience Cooper Crouse Hinds (CCH), ADB-SG, Honeywell products will be preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Fluent in Arabic and English Advanced skills in Microsoft office
