Our Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the systems and technologies that drive Unifonic’s solutions. We work closely with other departments to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our customers. As a Director of Technical Operations, you will be responsible for leading and managing our technical operations team to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our products and services.

• Leading and managing the technical operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
• Developing and implementing strategies to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our technical operations processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address any operational challenges or bottlenecks.
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical operations to drive continuous improvement.
• Managing relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards in technical operations.
• Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and progress of technical operations.
• Collaborating with the product engineering team to align technical operations with product development goals and objectives.
• Identifying and implementing tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technical operations processes.
• Leading and participating in cross-functional projects to drive innovation and process improvement.
• Mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

What you'll bring:

• Hands-on 10+ years of proven production-focused operations team management experience in the technology or software industry.
• In-depth knowledge of SMS business operations and other CPAAS services
• Experience handling total outages of the applications/systems.
• Previous experience in implementing the best practices like Google SRE, and experience with documentation writing - postmortems, RCAs, RFOs.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of ITIL and other relevant frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
