• The Director of Investment is responsible for leading strategic investment initiatives with a focus on emerging technologies and high-impact projects. This role includes overseeing the investment portfolio, identifying new opportunities, and driving innovation through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of technology markets, proven track record in product management and engineering, and strong

leadership abilities to drive transformative investments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a forward-thinking investment strategy focused on technology-driven opportunities.

• Identify and evaluate potential investments in emerging technologies, particularly in cloud computing, blockchain, and decentralized networks.

• Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of technology investments, ensuring a balanced approach to risk and return.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and invest in innovative products and technologies that align with the company’s strategic goals.

• Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals and technical experts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including venture capitalists, industry experts, and technology partners.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and corporate governance standards related to investments.

- Communicate the company’s investment strategy and portfolio performance to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge,Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in technology investment, product management, and engineering leadership roles.

• Extensive knowledge of financial markets, particularly in technology sectors such as cloud computing, blockchain, and decentralized networks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data and market trends.
• Proven track record of successful product launches and portfolio management.

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing high -performing teams.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

• Experience in high-growth technology companies or startups is highly desirable.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
