The Director of Entertainment Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the marketing strategies and execution for all entertainment asset launches (theme parks), intellectual property (IP) collaborations, and entertainment event partners within the organization. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful positioning and promotion of entertainment offerings to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of entertainment marketing, experience working with high-profile IPs, and a proven ability to oversee integrated campaigns for diverse entertainment assets.


Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive entertainment marketing strategy to align with corporate goals, ensuring synergy across all IPs and entertainment assets.
  2. Lead the development of creative marketing frameworks that position entertainment experiences as premium, must-see attractions.
  3. Collaborate closely with senior executives to align entertainment marketing objectives with broader organizational goals and priorities.
IP Management
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for global IP partners, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, messaging, and creative approvals.
  2. Develop co-marketing strategies with IP owners that maximize the visibility and value of entertainment offerings.
  3. Manage relationships with IP stakeholders, ensuring adherence to licensing agreements and maximizing partnership opportunities.
Asset Marketing
  1. Oversee marketing efforts for entertainment-focused assets, such as theme parks, events.
  2. Build integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, experiential, and traditional advertising, to launch assets
  3. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure consistent branding and storytelling across customer touchpoints in entertainment venues.
Campaign Development and Execution
  1. Lead the creation and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns, including strategy, messaging, media planning, and performance measurement.
  2. Manage the development of innovative promotional content, including trailers, posters, digital assets, and experiential activations, in partnership with creative agencies.
  3. Oversee the rollout of cross-platform campaigns, including social media, influencer partnerships, digital advertising, and on-ground activations.
Audience Engagement
  1. Identify and target core customer segments
  2. Develop audience-specific campaigns to drive awareness and engagement for both local and international markets.
  3. Create initiatives to drive repeat visits and long-term loyalty to entertainment assets.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
  1. Lead and mentor a small team of marketing professionals, fostering innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
  2. Partner with internal teams, such as corporate marketing, destination marketing, and strategy, to ensure seamless communication and campaign execution.
  3. Collaborate with external agencies, media buyers, and content creators to deliver high-quality campaigns on time and within budget.
Performance Measurement and Reporting
  1. Define KPIs for entertainment marketing efforts and track campaign performance against these metrics.
  2. Analyze marketing data and audience insights to refine campaigns and improve future strategies.
  3. Present performance reports to senior leadership, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
Innovation and Trends
  1. Stay informed about global trends in entertainment, marketing, and technology to identify new opportunities for the organization.
  2. Lead efforts to incorporate innovative marketing strategies, including experiential, AR/VR, and immersive storytelling, to elevate campaigns and engage audiences.
