You will work in partnership with clients, regulators and senior management to ensure the Direct Custody product offering is aligned with client needs and market parameters; and implement policies and practices that support the delivery of the business objectives. This requires your collaboration with various other lines of businesses that will also help you broaden your knowledge about other related products.
As a Vice President you will provide support and act as one of the deputies to the Product & Business Head of Direct Custody in developing the local product, service standards, client and regulatory interaction, market information and advocacy functions. You will be expected to be a key contributor in the continuous build of the product; hence your knowledge of the market, regulations, client expectations (local and foreign) is critical. Together, you will be charged with the responsibility for the overall Direct Custody service, specifically as it relates to transaction processing and asset servicing of securities held in the market.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the product strategy in Saudi Arabia
- Support relationship teams as a subject matter expert of the local market
- Management and understanding of all documentation related to the product
- Ensure clients are satisfied with the product offering by completing annual reviews
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure product delivery and governance
- Plan, develop and deliver solutions having tangible benefits to clients and the market
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum undergraduate degree
- Saudi Capital Market CME-1 Qualified
- Proficient in the English and Arabic language
- Experience in Securities and Custody Services for domestic and international clients
- Experience in responding to RFPs and Due Diligence Questionnaires
- Sound understanding of the local regulatory landscape and future development along with strong presentation skills
- Ability to deal with people and teams at all levels and to manage key initiatives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Preferred experience in managing high-profile projects
- Preferred experience in banking products e.g. FX and Custody Cash Managements
- Experience in other securities markets would be an added advantage
