Design Manager/ Technical Manager:

The Design Manager/Technical Manager role at our agriculture and crop production company in Al Hamra, Jeddah, is pivotal in driving innovative design solutions and technical strategies to enhance our agricultural practices. This position requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to lead projects that improve crop production efficiency and sustainability. The ideal candidate will oversee design processes, manage technical teams, and ensure that all projects align with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage design projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative agricultural solutions that meet market demands.
3. Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and advancements in agricultural technology and design.
4. Oversee the technical aspects of design, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
5. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and technical staff, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies.
7. Prepare and present design proposals and technical reports to senior management and clients.
8. Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet project goals.
9. Ensure quality control throughout the design process, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
10. Stay updated on industry developments and integrate new technologies into design practices.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Civil, agricultural, or landscape architect engineer qualifications.
2. 15 years of experience in relevant fields, preferably within KSA.
3. Experience with Public Investment Fund (PIF) projects.
4. Proven experience in landscaping projects, including leading technical office teams, reviewing drawings, and conducting client meetings.
5. Strong technical background in agricultural engineering or related fields.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to agricultural design.
10. Commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices.
