Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Demolition Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing the safe and efficient demolition of structures in various projects throughout the region.Develop comprehensive demolition plans and strategies for diverse structures, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulationsConduct thorough structural assessments and risk analyses to determine the most appropriate demolition methodsDesign and implement safety protocols to protect workers, the public, and surrounding structures during demolition operationsCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate demolition activities and timelinesUtilize advanced software tools to create detailed demolition models and simulationsOversee the execution of demolition projects, ensuring adherence to plans, safety standards, and environmental regulationsProvide technical guidance and support to demolition teams throughout the project lifecyclePrepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including demolition plans, safety reports, and project recordsStay updated on the latest demolition technologies, techniques, and safety practices in the industryQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional Engineering (PE) license; Certified Demolition Engineer certification is preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in demolition engineering or a related fieldExtensive knowledge of structural engineering principles, demolition techniques, and safety protocolsProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and structural analysis toolsStrong project management skills with experience in large-scale demolition projectsIn-depth understanding of local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaExpertise in environmental impact assessment and waste management related to demolition projectsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailStrong communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholdersWillingness to work in challenging environments and adapt to evolving project requirementsCommitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professional conductAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
