Data Structure Specialist

The Data Structure Specialist is responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing the data architecture of the organization. The role focuses on advanced data analysis, business intelligence, and ensuring the efficient and effective use of big data platforms. The specialist will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to support data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.

• Data Architecture Design:

  
  
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures that support the organization’s data and analytics needs.
  • Ensure data structures are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability, particularly in big data environments.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate data architecture into overall IT infrastructure.

• Advanced Data Analysis:

  
  
  • Conduct advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights that support business objectives.
  • Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models and other data-driven solutions.

• Business Intelligence (BI):

  
  
  • Support the development and maintenance of business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and analytics tools.
  • Ensure BI systems are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and provide timely, accurate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and ensure BI solutions meet those needs.

• Big Data Platform Management:

  
  
  • Manage and optimize big data platforms, ensuring they are properly configured and maintained to handle large-scale data processing.
  • Work with data engineers and IT teams to implement and manage big data tools and technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar platforms.
  • Ensure data governance and security measures are in place for all big data operations.

• Data Quality and Governance:

  
  
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Monitor data flows and pipelines to identify and resolve issues related to data quality or integrity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data architecture, processes, and governance policies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  
  
  • Work closely with IT, development, and business teams to align data architecture with organizational goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data architecture, analysis, and BI for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to data analysts and engineers on best practices in data management and analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in data architecture, data analysis, and business intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of big data platforms and technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis and programming languages.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
