Data Strategy – Senior Manager

About the Role:

Our client, a leading consulting firm based in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dynamic Data Strategy Manager/Senior Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing data strategies for clients across a range of industries, helping them drive innovation and transform their business through data-driven insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with clients to understand their data needs, develop tailored data strategies, and align data initiatives with their business goals.
• Provide strategic guidance on data management, governance, and analytics, ensuring the business is poised to leverage data for smarter decision-making.

• Develop comprehensive data strategy roadmaps that support clients’ long-term business objectives and data governance requirements.
• Design and implement data frameworks that ensure data quality, accessibility, and effective utilization across the organization.

• Oversee complex data strategy and transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, on time, and on budget.
• Lead cross-functional teams in executing advanced analytics, data integration, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions.

• Collaborate with analytics teams to identify opportunities for leveraging AI/ML, predictive analytics, and business intelligence tools.
• Assist clients in establishing KPIs and data-driven dashboards to monitor business performance and enable proactive decision-making.

• Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for expanding the firm’s data strategy services with both existing and new clients.
• Assist in developing proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that demonstrate the firm’s capabilities in solving data-related business challenges.

• Continuously monitor the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in data strategy, analytics, and digital transformation.
• Share thought leadership and represent the firm at industry events, ensuring the firm stays at the forefront of the data landscape.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or consulting, with a proven track record of delivering complex data projects.
• Experience working within the Middle East market, particularly in KSA, and a deep understanding of regional data governance and regulatory landscapes.

• Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, data management, and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of advanced analytics platforms, AI/ML, and cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in designing data-driven solutions and frameworks that deliver tangible business outcomes.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor teams of data professionals.
• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• Fluency in Arabic and English is highly preferred for effective communication with both clients and stakeholders.
