INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a ‘Data Centre Engineer’ to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting Industrial Digitalization Solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data center operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring the high availability and efficiency of critical infrastructure while adhering to best practices and industry standards. What You’ll Lead and Deliver

• Monitor and manage the health of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. 
• Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with operational standards and security protocols.
• Handle deployment, installation, and configuration of data center equipment.
• Ensure optimal performance and uptime of critical systems and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues.
• Collaborate with vendors for warranty repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity systems.
• Monitor resource usage and assist in capacity planning to ensure the data center meets future growth needs.
• Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
• Provide regular reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance schedules.
• Implement and maintain physical and cybersecurity measures to safeguard data center assets.
• Respond to security incidents and alarms in a timely manner.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with data center hardware, networking equipment, and virtualization technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) & Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.).
• Knowledge of data center cooling, power systems, and structured cabling.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
