Purpose of the role:
Ensure smooth and compliant import/export/re-export documentation processes, facilitating efficient customs clearance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance
• Payment processing for all customs Bayan, Broker invoices and Shipping line invoices.
• Follow up with insurance brokers for settlement of marine insurance claim.
• Handle container clearance within stipulated free time frame offered by shipping line and port authority.
• Review SOA of brokers and shipping line
• Provide 1 month heads up report to finance on container arrival for preparing duty.
• Submission of annual container receipt report to finance.
• Reviewing import invoice for accuracy of freight charges
• Coordination with Maersk and other shipping lines for payment and release of delivery orders (DO).
• Process PO and payment for lab test recommended by SFDA.
Customer
• Coordination with Clearing agents and conducting monthly meeting
• Coordination with government agencies (Saudi Customs/SFDA/SABER/SASO).
• Coordinate with shippers for documents whenever required.
• Follow-up and coordination with Broker/SFDA for shipments on hold, sample release, and inspection allocation.
• Coordinate with 03rd party lab for test results
• Coordinate with finance for timely settlement of payments.
• Visit government agencies to resolve any potential cases which may affect the import or business.

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and logistics roles, with at least 3 years of experience in the KSA.
• Proven track record in import/export documentation, customs clearance, and logistics operations.
• Experience in managing customs processes, compliance, and regulations in the KSA market
• Upto date knowledge of customs clearance and import regulations.
• Proficiency in customs declaration systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customs authorities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Proactive and adaptable mindset with a continuous improvement approach to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
