Our team focuses on playing the role of lead financial advisers in sell-side and buy-side transactions.Those in corporate finance at PwC will provide strategic financial advice and solutions to help clients navigate complex business transactions and optimise their capital structure. You will analyse financial data, conduct due diligence, and assist in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.The RoleAs a Corporate Finance Director, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform a lead advisory role in executing cross-border transactions – with direct hands-on experience in structuring acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments and capital raisingExecute live transactions for inbound and outbound investments for strategic/financial investors, provide advice to emerging companies seeking growth capital and shareholders seeking to realize value through financial restructuring and divestmentEvaluate key deal issues and potential deal breakersNegotiate pricing and review key commercial terms for transaction together with other corporate advisors and lawyers to structure the dealPrepare marketing pitches and assume a support role in deal originationInteracting with Senior levels of Management, and exposure to business owners to understand areas such as historical and projected business performance, wider commercial issues, etcHelp management and boards arrive at informed decisions, by providing credible valuation analysisEstablish credibility with existing clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledgeContribute to pursuit teams and proposal development including innovative approaches and methodologies tailored to address specific client requirements.RequirementsSignificant relevant experience with a background in accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, corporate strategy and restructuring preferably within a professional services environmentStrong M&A experience and an active network of clients in Saudi Arabia is highly preferredSolid technical abilities in financial analysis, valuation and financial modelingAptitude to originate and execute dealsAn investigative mindset with attention to detail with an ability to see the big pictureCommitted to developing client relationships with existing and potential clientsExcellent communication (written and oral), good people and client servicing skillsProven ability to manage project workflows and deliver on time, take ownership of tasks and assignments and accept responsibility for outcomesQualifications such as CPA, CA, CFA, MBA will be highly regardedArabic speaking is highly recommendedYour flexibility to travel 20% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
