An exciting opportunity is available for (Coordinator, Supply Chain) based in Dammam.


 Summary:


Conduct activities relating to the efficient execution of shipment and logistics services.


In this role, you will be responsible for:


  • Receive, check, tally the shipping documents.
  • Arranging the shipment and monitor its movement.
  • Conduct and prepare periodic shipping analyses on time.
  • Prepare daily shipment movement reports and update customer service for shipment status.
  • Monitor forwarder performance activities and submit relevant report to Department Head.
  • Maintain rate level of shipping and initiate cost reduction process for those in critical level.
  • Control and maintain records following proper procedures.
  • Complete the documentation cycle in accordance with ISO procedures / guidelines and maintain proper recordkeeping.
  • Identify best shipping line, schedule, and transit time.
  • Preparation of P.R and follow up for shipping invoices.
  • Maintain good relationship and interaction with internal organizations, service providers to maintain the good reputation and image of Rowad.
  • Identify and obtain optimum utilization of container.
  • To carry out any other assignment entrusted by the Section Head.
  • Report any discrepancy to Department Head for corrective action.
  • Check the quality of slitting blades after two packages.
  • Measure reel diameter after slitting first pack.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor Degree.
Minimum of 1 year experience in the same field.


         Knowledge & Skills Required:


  • Willing to work in Shifting schedules.
  • Problem solving.
  • decision making.
  • Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
