Control Systems Expert

Development of Flight Control Systems for UAS, including:

• 6-DOF modelling and simulation of Unmanned Air Vehicles
• Linear/Non-Linear Flight Control Design and implementation
• Development of advanced guidance and navigation algorithms
• Perform Failure analysis techniques such as FMEA/FTA
• Development of Fail-Safe and redundancy management systems
• Utilization of flight dynamics of fixed-wing, multi-copter and unconventional airplane configurations
• Implementation of the flight control systems on various range of hardware systems
• Perform Model Based Design and systems engineering for Autopilot and Avionic Systems
• Implement estimation algorithms and sensor fusion modules
• Development of airborne software in compliance with DO-178C and aviation recommended practices.
• Management and maintenance of flight control software
• Implement command and control of the autopilot and the ground control system based on STANAG-4586 and ability to customize and encrypt the link as required
• Integration of sensors and actuators with the flight control computer
• Testing and verification of the flight control unit (functional test / environmental test)

Development of Flight Simulation Environment, including:

• Utilizing simulation tools such as GAZEBO, FlightGear and xPlane to customize and verify the aircraft simulation models
• Development of Hardware-In-The-Loop (HILS) simulation
• Simulate flight sensors and sensor failures
• Verification of flight control systems SILS, HILS and actual flight tests.

Knowledge of PCB Design, embedded systems and Aircraft Avionics Architecture
