As a contract officer, he/she will be responsible for overseeing contracts between EnergyTech and its clients, vendors, partners, or other stakeholders. His/her primary goal will be to ensure that all contractual obligations are met efficiently and effectively, while minimizing risks to EnergyTech.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with external parties, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and meet the EnergyTech’s objectives.
Contract Review: Review contracts and agreements to identify potential risks and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
Contract Management: Manage all aspects of contracts from initiation to closure, including drafting, approval, execution, and amendments.
Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to monitor performance and adherence to contract terms. Resolve disputes or issues as they arise.
Compliance Monitoring: Monitor contract compliance and performance metrics and develop strategies to address any deviations or non-compliance.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, such as financial, operational, or legal risks. Implement risk management strategies to protect EnergyTech’s interests.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of contract activities, including expenditures, procurement, and supplier performance.
Contract Administration: Administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring that all parties fulfil their obligations in accordance with agreed terms.
Legal Support: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts are legally sound and comply with regulatory requirements.
