Hill International is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the construction of a new serviced apartment complex in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the entire construction process, from pre-construction planning to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee construction schedules, budgets, and project plans
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes and regulations
- Monitor and manage project progress, including quality control and safety
- Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress reports to senior management
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
- Manage project budget and ensure cost control measures are in place
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of the project within budget and schedule
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in managing the construction of high-rise residential or hospitality projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia is preferred
- Willingness to relocate to Madinah, Saudi Arabia for the duration of the project
