As part of the Red Sea Destination, this transformative destination offers a unique opportunity to redefine culinary excellence in a wellness-centric environment.


We are seeking a talented and experienced Commissary Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team and contribute to the seamless operation of our central commissary kitchen. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Commissary Sous Chef will play a vital role in managing food preparation for wellness focused products, ensuring consistent quality, and supporting various culinary outlets across the resort.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily operations of the commissary kitchen, ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of high-quality food items to all outlets.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other culinary leaders to develop menus, recipes, and production plans that align with Miraval’s wellness philosophy.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards in all commissary operations.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and storage of ingredients to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Train, mentor, and lead a diverse culinary team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Maintain clear communication with outlet chefs to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction across all dining experiences.
  • Continuously explore and implement innovative cooking techniques, processes, and sustainable practices.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a commissary or large-scale kitchen, preferably in a luxury resort setting, and experience in wellness properties a plus.
  • Strong expertise in high-volume food production, inventory management, and culinary operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
  • Passion for culinary innovation, sustainability, and delivering wellness-focused cuisine.
  • Remote location experience is a plus.
