Role OverviewProduct Development Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative tourism products and solutions to drive revenue and strengthen customer relationships. The role involves analyzing market trends, identifying customer needs, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop competitive products and services.Key Responsibilities1. Product Development and Strategy: • Design and implement innovative tourism products and services that align with business goals and market demands. • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new product offerings or enhancements to existing products. • Develop and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the commercial strategies.2. Sales Support and Enablement: • Provide the commercial team with product training, marketing materials, and tools to effectively communicate product benefits to clients. • identify customer-specific product solutions to enhance client engagement and revenue generation. • Monitor product performance and recommend adjustments to meet commercial objectives.3. Market Research and Customer Insights: • Conduct research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points, ensuring products address market demands. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Saudi tourism industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: • Engage with travel agencies and other partners to gather insights and promote new sales products.5. Reporting and Performance Analysis: • Track and evaluate the performance of sales products, including revenue impact, market share, and customer satisfaction. • Prepare and present reports on product performance and development initiatives to management.Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • 5+ years of experience in sales, product development, or a related role. • Experience in developing and managing sales products within the travel industry.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Revenue generated from new or enhanced sales products. • Customer satisfaction and retention metrics. • Adoption rates of new products by the sales team and clients. • Time-to-market for new product launches.This role is ideal for a creative, results-driven professional passionate about delivering innovative solutions to drive tourism success.
