The Commercial & Operations Specialist supports the sales team by providing administrative and organizational assistance. Provides bid generation support, manages and maintains sales funnel (forecasting), facilitates communication and sponsors department meetings. Communicates with vendors and customers and arranges for third party inspections. Track sales KPIs using software tools to improve the accuracy of the sales funnel and forecast. Tracks performance against metrics and performs sales incentive calculations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Working closely with the country manager, sales director, Key account managers, territories sales, customers services, customers care and marketing teams to provide required level of administrative support. Keeping the Commercial Team updated with related sales figures on weekly basis or as when required. Managing day-to-day internal and external communications proactively and effectively to ensure customers, associates, and stakeholders’ satisfaction. Maintaining up-to-date and track to customers tenders, agreements, MOUs, licenses, as well as legal matters to ensure smooth operation and uninterrupted business. Following up (in collaboration with Application and Training Manager) all Field Action Notices forms and update responses in SharePoint. Maintaining systematic filing system both hard copies and soft copies to ensure every document is readily available whenever required. Coordinating with our Payables Department in managing all local payments to ensure uninterrupted services and maintain DSO within the defined range. Assisting our Receivables Department whenever payment escalation is required from our Channel Partners to ensure smooth business operation. Supporting regional RA activities in introducing new products into the region and ensuring product access to the markets / countries on time, without issues/obstacles. Supporting Marketing team by assisting with their administrative requirements for our events. Supporting the team with Logistics requirements as and when required. Developing strong relationships with all colleagues, clients, visitors, and customers. Supporting HR regional requirements, as and when required. Drive annual Customer Satisfaction survey (CSS) process
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor degree in business (or equivalent) with 5+ years of related work experience. Fluent oral and written English & Arabic Understand the business cycle within and outside the organization and each step of the execution, role of different functions and team member. Good knowledge of SAP and SFDC systems and ability to extract related and meaningful reports. Communicates in a timely, accurate and effective manner with upper management, global colleagues, and internal departments such as Field Service, Customer Service, Finance, Bids and Contracts, HR, and IT. Ability to work collaboratively across the organization including sales, service, technical support, marketing, and business management functions. Highly developed communication skills and ability to work effectively in global setup.
