Perform lab testing to Soil, Concrete, Aggregate and asphalt tests and related chemical tests according to international standards and work Instructions as per authorization matrix or/ and responsibilities / authorities referred in the job to description the deputy.
Analyze test results, control the nonconforming test results, verify and validating measuring equipment, ensure the fulfilment of records including worksheets and other supplements when performing testing proceeds within the authorization.
Implement and follow the work instructions in accordance with the best quality practices.
Perform and evaluate laboratory tests of Soil, Concrete & Aggregate materials and Chemical related tests accordance to the applicable International Standards.
Follow-up preventive maintenance action plan, verify equipment on the daily basis, ensure prober transportation actions onto the laboratory premises.
Ensure the efficiency of measuring equipment, verify and monitor them to accomplish the accuracy parameters.
Track the initial settings of the equipment to avoid any unintended use.
Prepare equipment inventory and label them to ensure the validity of its results and monitor relevant records.
Notify the direct supervisor with maintenance & calibration status.
Precede intermediate checks to validate the specified methods.
Record the environmental conditions (humidity & ambient temperature), and other variables that may affect the laboratory activities.
Experience with lab equipment maintenance and calibration.
Knowledge of soil, concrete, and aggregate testing standards.
Familiarity with lab management software.
