On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Chief Operating Officer to join the company in Riyadh.


Job Summary


The COO will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all day-to-day business operations to enable rapid growth and ensure operational efficiency. This is a strategic, high-impact role where you will draw upon your extensive experience in the high-tech industry and banking sector to drive the company's operational and financial performance.


  • Develop and implement innovative operational strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's long-term strategic objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and eliminate bottlenecks
  • Oversee the technology roadmap and infrastructure to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure systems that support the company's growth
  • Manage the customer support team to deliver an exceptional user experience and drive customer satisfaction
  • Analyze key performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize financial performance
  • Hire, develop, and retain top talent across all operational functions

Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth FinTech company
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT or a relevant technical field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Extensive experience in the banking or financial technology industry, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices
  • Highly tech-savvy, with the ability to understand and leverage the latest technologies, tools, and systems to enhance cross-functional collaboration and productivity
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and efficiency in a high-tech or financial services environment
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to think several steps ahead and anticipate future needs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience leading and motivating teams in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
